If you want to wash your waterproof of technical clothing, Nikwax Tech Wash is the tool for the job! It’s a non-detergent soap so it restores your jacket’s breathability by clearing our dirt and oils and reviving its original durable water repellent (DWR). It also removes detergent residue (which impairs your jacket’s performance) from your clothing.

The DWR can start to wear off, in which case you'll need to reproof your garment after-cleaning with wash-in reproofer. With wash-in reproofer you can revive your garment’s breathability and durable water repellency without affecting its internal wicking properties. It’s optimised for reproofing breathable waterproof garments and for reproofing more delicate clothing that you don’t want to put in the tumble dryer or washing machine.
